Doctoral Supervision
During 2014, I plan to accept one new PhD researcher in the area of innovation/entrepreneurship. You can express initial interest by emailing me with a detailed CV (also include a transcript of your grades from your previous degrees) and a detailed research proposal. My research interests are as described in my research page. The decision will depend on a consideration of all the relevant documents (as explained here), the quality of your research proposal as well as the outcome of the interview.
Some tips on preparing your proposal:
1. Title: A clear working title for your research project.
2. Research Objectives: Why do you want to work in this area? Why is this topic interesting and topical? What are the research gaps?
3. Theoretical background: What is the key literature? Who are the key authors? What are their main findings?
4. Methods: How will you conduct your research?
5. Timescale: What would be the main stages of your research?
6. References and Appendices: List the references that you have used throughout your research proposal, as well as tables that show how this particular literature is evolving throughout time. Please show chronologically the main authors, the methods that they have adopted and their main findings.
